Peach Momoko is becoming a member of Marvel’s Star Wars universe with a sequence of variant covers celebrating Women’s History Month.
Marvel Comics introduced Momoko will do a sequence of 11 variant covers that will probably be featured in each Star Wars sequence all through March 2023. The writer additionally unveiled 4 of the covers that includes Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘s Amilyn Holdo, Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca‘s Khel Tanna, Star Wars: Hidden Empire‘s Chanath Cha and the Boushh disguise worn by Leia in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. “It’s an honor to be working on so many covers for the Star Wars world,” Momoko stated. “I love all the characters I got to draw. They each have their own uniqueness and strength that I admire.”
The sequence formally launches on March 1, 2023, with Momoko variants for Star Wars: Hidden Empire #4 (by Charles Soule and Steven Cummings), Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca #10 (by Marc Guggenheim and David Messina) and Star Wars #32 (by Soule and Madibek Musabekov). Following on March 8 are variants for Star Wars: The High Republic #6 (by Cavan Scott and Ario Anindito), Star Wars: Sana Starros #2 (by Justina Ireland and Pere Pérez) and Star Wars: Bounty Hunters #32 (by Ethan Sacks and Paolo Villanelli).
