Nowadays, it appears as if each film and tv collection ever produced is on the market on some streaming platform. There are the originals, like Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video, and newer entries like HBO Max, Disney+, and Paramount+. Plus (see what we did there) a large number of others, like Roku, Apple TV+, Peacock, and plenty of extra. Side word, is there a sure quota of “number of streamers with ‘plus’ shoehorned into their names” that must be met? Looking at you, Discovery+ and ESPN+.
However, our favourite applications can’t final perpetually, even within the Golden Age of Streaming. Rights change and expire, reveals bounce from platform to platform, or typically disappear fully. At least streamers often announce forward of time what’s leaving and when. That approach, audiences can put together a correct farewell or a frenzied binge-watch if a number of favourite titles depart concurrently.
